DeBloois Landscaping LLC is a Felton, Delaware based lawn health company. We provide fertilization and weed control programs, core aeration and overseeding, soil testing and soil corrections, mosquito and tick control, and select weekly lawn maintenance for homeowners throughout Delaware.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
We are based in Felton, Delaware and serve homeowners in Kent, Sussex, and New Castle counties.
How does a lawn program work through the year?
A program is a series of seasonal visits rather than one application. Spring focuses on green-up and weed prevention, summer on holding turf through heat, and fall on root strength, aeration, and seeding. The number of rounds depends on your lawn's grass type, soil results, and weed pressure.
When is the best time to aerate and overseed in Delaware?
Fall is the strongest window for cool-season lawns here, because soil is still warm while nights cool off and new seedlings have time to root before winter.
Why start with a soil test?
A soil test reports pH and nutrient levels, which tells us whether the soil can actually use what we apply. Without it, a program is guesswork and you can pay for product the lawn cannot use.
Do you work through the winter?
No. We shut down lawn care visits from November 15 through February 15. Our season runs from March through November 15, which is when Delaware lawns are actively growing and treatments can be effective.
